The ArsNova team participates in the conference "Poesia e Musica fra Trecento e Quattrocento" (Certaldo, 18-20 July 2022)

On Monday July 18th Antonio Calvia and Michele Epifani will participate in the conference”Poesia e Musica fra Trecento e Quattrocento. Itinerari tra filologia e musicologia” (Certaldo, 18-20 July 2022), organised by the Centro di studi sull’Ars Nova del Trecento “Marcello Masini” of Certaldo. During the session entitled “I versi e la melodia. Problemi di metodo e notazione”, Antonio Calvia will discuss the musical vocabulary used by Dante in his Commedia, while Michele Epifani will talk about musical metre and versification in Landini’s ballatas. The event will be live-streamed at the following link.
