Chiara Martignano presents a model for scholarly digital editions at the 10th annual conference of the AIUCD

The 10th edition of the annual conference of the Association for Digital Humanities and Digital Culture (AIUCD) “DHs for society: e-quality, participation, rights and values in the Digital Age.” will be held from the 19th to the 22nd of January 2021. The conference will take place as an online event, hosted by the University of Pisa and organized by the Laboratory of Digital Culture (LABCD) of the University of Pisa (UNIPI), the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) – through the Institute for Computational Linguistics “A. Zampolli” (ILC) and the Institute of Information Science and Technologies” A. Faedo” (ISTI) and CLARIN-IT, the Italian node of the Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure (CLARIN). During the conference Chiara Martignano, our digital humanist, will hold a presentation of her research project, consisting in the elaboration of a model for scholarly digital editions. The model will be tested through the development of an application specifically designed for critical editions of Romance poetry and medieval music, which will also be utilised to publish several editions of the Ars Nova project.
